Terms of Use

By creating an account or using AgroX (the “Service”), operated by Hefes LLC, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

AgroX is a double-blind marketplace connecting buyers, sellers (farmers and FAMA collection centers), and logistics providers. Transactions may include spot sales and pre-harvest pre-purchases, with funds held in escrow and released on verified handover.

You must register via Veri5 Passport and keep your details accurate. You may act as a buyer, seller, or logistics provider, and switch roles from your Account page. You are responsible for activity under your account.

The Service is deliberately double-blind: you must not attempt to identify, contact outside the platform, or de-anonymize a counterparty. Transporters receive logistics details only.

AgroX charges a 5% platform commissionper transaction, deducted from the seller’s proceeds. Payments are processed by Stripe and held in escrow until settlement. Transport fees, where applicable, are agreed via the logistics bidding flow.

An order progresses through defined states (pending → escrowed → collected → delivered → closed) with QR + geolocation handover. Refunds follow the escrow rules (e.g. shortfall on a pre-harvest commitment is refunded pro-rata). Disputes are handled by AgroX support; decisions on release/refund rest with authorized staff.

Provide accurate listings and quantities; do not list unsafe, quarantined, or misrepresented produce. AgroX (or FAMA) may quarantine stock affected by a declared disease outbreak, which removes it from buyer visibility until lifted.

The Copilot/assistant is a tool that acts within your own permissions. It proposes actions; you confirm every change. It never captures payment. Verify important details before you confirm.

Lifecycle events may be cryptographically anchored to the Veri5 chain for verifiable provenance. Anchors record hashes and timestamps only — never your identity.

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Hefes LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the quality, safety, or legality of produce traded between users, beyond our role as an intermediary and escrow holder.

We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms, the law, or the anonymity rules. You may close your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Nothing here limits your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
